Tuesday 15th July

Another basically quiet day before we move off again.

I did a 58 km ride around Darwin and surrounds for the final time. It was nice to reinforce the memories we will have.

Prue did her walk and when she arrived back she did a load of washing before we leave here tomorrow. The washing dries very quickly when the temperature is about 30 degrees, in winter!! It is such a different climate up here. Beats the cold.

We went into Darwin just before 1200 because, finally, I was able to get a massage which is my first since leaving home. Tonight I am feeling the good parts of it. The Massage Therapist, Angela, is originally from the Central Coast near Gosford. She and her partner made a decision to return here. Her partner is the owner of an airconditioning business and is run off his feet. Angela mentioned that there is a big shortage of Massage therapists here, too. No one wants to leave the south to work up here even thought he money is exceptional.

Tonight we went for a casual dinner at the Wharf in Darwin proper. A nice relaxing evening with a large crowd there. It was really nice just being outside in the cooler air.

Tomorrow, we leave here for Litchfield National Park. More photos should be coming soon.
